It is a great pleasure to let you know that my image of Kittiwakes is awarded a GPU Gold Medal – 1st Place – in Global Arctic Awards 2016. I also achieved a GPU Honorary Mention for my picture of a Common Guillemot.  

I am delighted to announce that my image of Common Guillemots, photographed on Hornøya in Finnmark, Norway in March 2016, has been awarded Honorable Mention at Black and White Spider Awards 2016. Photographers from 71 countries – in all 7,556 images – entered this year´s competition. I also had four nominee photographs in the contest.  

I am both delighted, proud and humbled to receive the Norway National Award for the best single image – across all ten categories – in the Sony World Photography Awards 2016, the world’s biggest photography competition.  

It is a great pleasure to let you know that my image of a Black Grouse in backlight reached 3rd Place (PSA Bronze) in Global Arctic Awards 2015. I also achieved a Highly Commended Award (PSA Ribbon) for my picture of a female Black Grouse.
