On display at Smithsonian’s National Museum of Natural History in Washington, D.C.
Though it is far from world breaking news, it is a pleasure and great honour to announce that my award-winning photograph in Nature’s Best Photography, “Leopard Silhouette”, is selected to the Awards Exhibition 2012 at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of Natural History in Washington, D.C.
The exhibition will reamin open from March 30 until January 6, 2013. Being an ancient and honorable museum having stunning 7 million visitors each year, I am both humble and proud hanging on the walls at the Natural History Museum…
From the press release
“More than 20,000 images from nature photographers in 47 countries were reviewed by a Judging Panel made up of experts in photography, science, and conservation. Narrowed down to a selection of 135 award-winning photographs for the awards publication, and just 48 for the Smithsonian exhibition, the images were measured by their uniqueness in topic and composition, and overall technical excellence.”
