It is a pleasure to let you know that in the Monochrome Photography Awards 2016 out of five participating images I received three Highly Commended Awards. Photographers from 81 countries – in all 8,122 images – entered the this year´s competition.
I am delighted to announce that my image of Common Guillemots, photographed on Hornøya in Finnmark, Norway in March 2016, has been awarded Honorable Mention at Black and White Spider Awards 2016. Photographers from 71 countries – in all 7,556 images – entered this year´s competition. I also had four nominee photographs in the contest.
Selected from 21,654 images, I am delighted to let you know that the image “Quizzical Cat” has received a Highly Commended award in the Black & White category in Glanzlichter European Nature Photographer of the Year 2016.
I am both delighted, proud and humbled to receive the Norway National Award for the best single image – across all ten categories – in the Sony World Photography Awards 2016, the world’s biggest photography competition.
