It is a pleasure to let you know that my photograph “Lion in the night” has achieved a “Remarkable Award” in Siena International Photo Awards 2018 in Italy. This is one of the photo contests with the highest international participation. In the 2018 edition they received nearly 48,000 images from photographers from 156 countries.
I am proud to let you know I have become ambassador for the Cheetah For Ever program. Cheetah For Ever (CFE) is a French Non Profit Organisation which introduced and finances a Kenyan program of supervision and protection of cheetah females and their cubs in the Maasai Mara National Reserve in Kenya, involving the local populations.
I am happy to let you know that my two images below are honored with Highly Commended Awards in BioPhotoContest 2018. The first image shows a Serval Cat photographed in the late evening in Maasai Mara in Kenya in May 2017. The photograph of the Bison is taken in Yellowstone in U.S. in February 2018, and the light behind the ox is steam from a hot spring.
This image, named “Hunted”, has been Highly Commended in the Moments in Nature category in Glanzlichter 2018. The image is taken in November 2017 together with John Siololo and Johnmark Kiss-may at Oltepesi Tented Safari Camp in Maasai Mara, Kenya.
It is a pleasure to let you know I am honored with two Highly Commended Awards in the international nature photography contest Memorial Maria Luisa, MML 2017 (Spain). Photographers from 89 countries, in all 15,000 images, entered this year´s competition.
This image, named “Hunted”, has been Highly Commended in the Animal Behaviour category in WildlifePhoto.com Contest 2017. The image is taken in November 2017 together with John Siololo and Johnmark Kiss-may at Oltepesi Tented Safari Camp in Maasai Mara, Kenya.
It is a pleasure to let you know that in the Monochrome Photography Awards 2017 out of five participating images I received three Highly Commended Awards. Photographers from 87 countries – in all 8,942 images – entered the this year’s competition.
It is a pleasure to let you know that my image of this supreme male lion, photographed in the night of Maasai Mara in Kenya, is honored with a First Place / Category Winner in Nature’s Best Photography Africa 2017. The price-giving ceremony was held this week in Johannesburg in South Africa, and the photograph will be on display at Iziko South African Museum till 4th March 2018.
