In February this year I once again was in Kenya. This was my 12th trip over the years to different countries in Africa, and this time the main goal was Maasai Mara and the Cheetah. And we were lucky to follow the cats during both stalking and hunts, giving us great possibilities for having nice shots.
At Gallery Schee at Hov every Saturday from 9 AM to 16 PM during the period of 19th January to 23rd March, I will have nature photograps on display. The exhibition will present wild life images I have taken in Norden, including a taste of India and East Africa. Read more
In November this year I was in Samburu National Park in Central Kenya and Maasai Mara National Reserve in Southern Kenya. Together with high class Samburu and Maasai guides, two weeks’ outing gave some great encounters with the big cats of Africa: Cheetahs, leopards and lions, but also a rich variety of other wildlife and birds.
At this year’s September trip to Dovrefjell I was guide for an international group of wildlife photographers; Danny Green (UK), Yann Muzika (Japan/France) and Tom Dyring (Norway). The goal at Dovre Mountain was, of course, the Musk Ox.
At this year’s Moose Festival in Dokka in Oppland, taking place Friday 7th to Sunday 9th September, I have been invited to have an exhibition.

Though it is far from world breaking news, it is a pleasure and great honour to announce that my award-winning photograph in Nature’s Best Photography, “Leopard Silhouette”, is selected to the Awards Exhibition 2012 at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of Natural History in Washington, D.C.
Flatanger in Trøndelag on the western coast of Norway is widely known for their big population of White-tailed Eagles. But they got much more than that. On my trips there I also photograph Goshawk, Golden Eagle, Eurasian Jay and Red Squirrel as well. And there is a lot more!
