Highly Commended Award in Magical Nature – Nature Photography of the Year 2018
It is a pleasure to announce that this weekend my image of European Shags received a Highly Commended Award at the awards ceremony at Magical Nature in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
The contest attracted 4,300 images from photographers from 46 countries.
The photograph is taken on Hornøya in Sør-Varanger in Finnmark, Norway together with Wildphoto Norway and Stjørdal Foto. Thanks for great organizing and company to Espen Lie Dahl and Kjetil Schjølberg, and to Yann Muzika, George Mjønes, Knut-Sverre Horn and Bjarne Riesto.
The contest is organized by Association of Slovenian Nature Photographers (ZNFS) and National Institute of Biology (NIB) under patronage of European project LIFE NATURAVIVA Biodiversity Art of life.
Also congratulations to fellow Norwegian photographers Bernt Østhus, Pål Hermansen and Øyvind Pedersen.
