It is a pleasure to let you know that my photograph “Lion in the night” has been awarded 1st place – FD GRČA Gold Medal – in Narava International Contest of Photography 2017 in Slovenia. In this year´s competition photographers from 59 countries participated with the total number of 4,200 images.
More than 24,000 photographs took part in the Oasis International Photo Contest 2017. Hereby this is Italy´s 2nd biggest nature photography contest, and it is a pleasure to let you know I am honored with two awards in this year´s competition.
I am happy to let you know that my image below, taken in the forests in Kuhmo at the Finnish-Russian border, is honored with a Highly Commended Award in BioPhotoContest 2017.
The image shows a peaceful and wild male wolf photographed in the summer midnight. This is the kind of simple composited image I like to create, emphasizing how lucky we are to be given a small glimpse into the wolfs’ secret life.
It is an honor to be showcased amongst the world´s finest Nikon photographers in the latest issue of «Nikon Pro Magazine».
This official Nikon magazine is distributed to 29 countries, in 5 languages and includes digital editions worldwide. The magazine’s total circulation is 65,000 copies.
I am delighted to let you know that my photograph titled “Eurpean Shag in snow”, taken on Hornøya in Finnmark, Norway, in 2016, has been Highly Commended in International Color Awards 2017 (USA).
This year the contest received 6,178 images created by photographers from totally 75 different countries. The portrait photograph of the Shag won a Honorable Mention in the Wildlife category.
