Selected to the «Remembering Cheetahs»
It is a real honour for me to have one of my photographs selected for inclusion in the soon to be published «Remembering Cheetahs» coffee table book.
The book contains Cheetah images taken by some of the finest nature photographers including Andy Rose, Art Wolfe, Elliot Neep, Frans Lanting, Jeffrey Wu, Jonathan & Angela Scott, Margot Raggett, Thomas D Mangelsen, Will Burrard-Lucas, Xavier Ortega, and many others.
My selected image is an image of the famous coalition of five cheetah brothers in Maasai Mara, Kenya, known as the «Tano Bora». The picture was taken on a game drive with Oltepesi Tented Safari Camp.
The Remembering Cheetahs coffee table book will be published on October 12th, 2020. This will be the fifth book in the Remembering Wildlife series created by wildlife photographer Margot Raggett. Margot’s mission is to raise awareness of the threats facing a species and raise funds to protect them by using images generously donated by the world’s top wildlife photographers to create the books for publication and sale.
This year the focus is on cheetahs, the worlds most endangered big cat. There are only 7,100 cheetahs left in the wild. Previous projects and books launched in the Remembering Wildlife series are Remembering Elephants, Remembering Rhinos, Remembering Great Apes and Remembering Lions.
