Honorable Mention in Black and White Spider Awards 2016

I am delighted to announce that my image of Common Guillemots, photographed on Hornøya in Finnmark, Norway in March 2016, has been awarded Honorable Mention at Black and White Spider Awards 2016. Photographers from 71 countries – in all 7,556 images – entered this year´s competition. I also had four nominee photographs in the contest.

It is a great pleasure to let you know that my image of a Black Grouse in backlight reached 3rd Place (PSA Bronze) in Global Arctic Awards 2015. I also achieved a Highly Commended Award (PSA Ribbon) for my picture of a female Black Grouse.

1st place in Por El Planeta 2015

Having National Geographic photo-grapher Paul Nicklen as chair of the jury, a giant prize pool of USD 300,000 (!) and 28,578 participating photographs taken by 2,949 photographers off 88 countries, there is no doubt about neither the effort nor the success of Por El Planeta’s first nature photo contest. Also it is an honor to let you know that my image, “Quizzical Cat”, was awarded a 1st place as a Category Winner of Animal Portraits in this contest.

On display in London

It is a pleasure to let you know I am one of 20 hand picked nature photographers contributing to Cheetah Conservation Fund’s (CCF) “Cheetahs Alive Photo Exhibition” in London.

The exhibition, in association with Strutt & Parker, will be on display at Patrick Mavros Art Gallery in London from 21st September to 7th October 2015, to raise awareness of the Cheetah’s plight in the wild.

It is a pleasure to let you know that my photographs below of fighting topis and walrus have been awarded 3rd place (PSA Bronze and FZC Bronze, respectively) in Narava International Contest of Photography 2015. In this year´s competition photographers from 62 countries participated with the total number of 4,100 images.

1st place in I Am Photographer / Baltic Photo Contest 2015

I am delighted to tell that my image titled “Kttiwake Dream” won the 1st place in the Bird category in I Am Photographer / Baltic Photo Contest 2015. In the same contest my image “Saluting Bearded Seal” won 3rd place (2nd Runner Up) in the Animals category. Both images are taken on Svalbard in July/August 2014 – thanks to WildPhoto Travel for yet another great trip.
