What does the fox say?

In these “foxy times” I went for a trip to Dovre Mountains in the central part of southern Norway to photograph the Arctic Fox. Only a few years ago this would be almost impossible, the species was nearly extinct in Norway. Thanks to a successful – but still fragile – project started in 2007, the population now is growing.

The archipelago counting 13 islands is distributed on either side of the Equator in the Pacific Ocean about 900 km west of continental Ecuador in South-America and is very much basis for Charles Darwin’s studies and conclusions leading to his evolution theory published in his book On the Origin of Species published in 1859

Image report from summer trip to Svalbard 2013

This summer I once again was on Svalbard. This was my fourth trip to this arctic archipelago in the Arctic Ocean, constituting the northernmost part of Norway and midway between mainland and the North Pole. Svalbard is unique, and going there really is an experience and a memory for life, at any season, for anyone! Are you up to nature photography as well, I can tell it is every nature photographer’s paradise! The wildlife, scenery and light is spectacular!

Trip report from Maasai Mara, Kenya 2013

In February this year I once again was in Kenya. This was my 12th trip over the years to different countries in Africa, and this time the main goal was Maasai Mara and the Cheetah. And we were lucky to follow the cats during both stalking and hunts, giving us great possibilities for having nice shots.
